Seventh seed wins 6-3 6-1 to set up last-eight meeting with Jessica Pegula
Tunisian seventh seed Ons Jabeur powered into the French Open quarter-finals for the first time on Monday with a 6-3 6-1 rout of American Bernarda Pera.
Jabeur, who is aiming to become the first Arab woman to win a Grand Slam title, was in devastating form as she broke Pera's serve five times and hit 22 winners.
The 27-year-old will face American Jessica Pegula in the last eight on Tuesday.
Pegula, the 11th seed, reached the quarter-finals for the second time in her career with a 4-6 6-3 6-2 victory over Irina-Camelia Begu of Romania.
